The Minangkabau culture center is Batusangkar. It was here that once stood the original palace of Pagaruyun, the residence of the Adityavarman dynasty. War, fires and earthquakes destroyed the palace more than once. In the town and the surrounding area you can find the real treasures like a samples of Rumah Gadang. One of these houses has been over then 350 years old. In addition to Rumah Gadang, in Batusangkar there are graves of kings, megalithic complexes and giant stella stones. (@kala__makara)
